At Renegade, one-on-one compassionate care is the standard.

You know that statistic that floats around, the one where you only have 11 seconds to talk before your provider interrupts you?

Yeah, you won’t find that here.

Our patients always notice one thing in particular after their first visit; the fact that we actually listen to them when they talk so they finally feel heard. We’ve been told time and time again that we’re the first providers who took the time to hear our patients’ full medical stories without interruption. We’ve always been passionate about providing patient-centric care.

That’s why you won’t find us in the “typical” system, where a PT gets to spend less than 30 minutes (sometimes even less than 15 minutes) with a patient before the patient is then passed off to a different provider or told to “go do their exercises”.

We take pride in being present during your entire visit.

It’s common for medical providers to have to spend time documenting during patient care or see more than one patient at a time. When we built Renegade, it was important for us to be present during the entire hour. While we might jot down some quick notes during your visit (mostly during your initial appointment), but you can guarantee that we’ll be with you every step of the way, giving you movement cues and chatting about life.

Your hour will not be split between us and a computer or another patient.

The faces behind Renegade

Kyle Brunelle, Physical Therapist, Posing for Photo

Kyle Brunelle, PT, DPT, CIDN

We’ll start with the semi-boring things: Kyle graduated from Utica College in Utica NY with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and has since dove into continuing education to ensure that he provides the best and most effective treatment for his patients. He is a Certified Integrative Dry Needling provider and has taken extensive education on modalities like taping, scraping, and treatment of common musculoskeletal injuries. He also has advanced training in in pelvic health for both women and men and is very proficient with the treatment of pelvic health concerns.

Kyle’s passion lies within listening to his patients’ full stories. It’s important to Kyle that you feel not only heard but listened to. He is dedicated to helping you understand what’s going on so you can work together to determine the best solution for your life and get you feeling better, faster.

As an avid outdoorsman and athlete himself, he’s experienced frustrating injuries and setbacks himself and can relate to the athlete and active human that you are. He’ll be your personal hope dealer and solution provider so that you can get back to what you love doing without being held back by aches, pains, injuries, or just the fear of getting hurt. His approach is movement-biased with a great blend of manual techniques like blading, massage, needling, cupping, and more.

Kaylee Pobocik, PT, DPT, ATC

Kaylee graduated from the University of New England with her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in North Carolina. As a life-long learner, Kaylee has continued to grow with her continuing education in movement biomechanics, implications of the pelvic floor in orthopedic injuries, and dry needling. She has experience treating orthopedic injuries and has extensive knowledge on the musculoskeletal system.

She provides an individualized approach to each patient looking at the body’s entire kinetic chain- not just one joint. She likes the challenge of solving problems that other providers may have overlooked and enjoys treating issues from head to toe, literally. She has a special interest in active individuals and temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD). With her background as an athletic trainer she understands the demands of different sports on the body. She has a passion for keeping athletes healthy and playing at their highest potential. She goes the extra mile to break down sport specific movements via video analysis during sessions. She pairs her exercise focused treatment approach with her manual training including massage, mobilizations, and needling.

She has a passion for the outdoors and staying active. When she’s not in the clinic you may find her shredding the slopes, hiking, running, paddling on the lake, or even painting. She knows what it’s like to push your body and mind to the limit from her many backpacking adventures. She understands how important it is to get your body back to where you want to be.
